I got a bike for Christmas. I had recently given my old (very old) one to Jayde when Jewel learnt to ride without training wheels and inherited Jayde's old bike. Once we got back from our holiday I started riding every morning. First just down to the Petrol station to buy a newspaper (6.5 km's). It isn't far but our suburb is very hilly - takes about 30 minutes. I then started doing an afternoon ride as well.
My bike developed some problems so I had to take it back, but started using Jayde's (my old) bike instead.
Then this week I progressed to riding to Tuggeranong Petrol station and back for the newspaper (15 km's - takes about an hour). I have really enjoyed this riding every day.
This morning I took Jayde with me. it was fun (even if it took longer 1.5 hours) - now I am trying to convince Jayde to get up early and ride with me every morning for the rest of the holidays.
